On 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation will come into effect across the EU. It is a new law that is being implemented in the same way across all EU countries to create a level set of rules to ensure all data held and processed by organisations within the EU is secure and processed lawfully.
Schools are required to comply with GDPR and as such, St John the Baptist Primary School has been working on our GDPR readiness since October 2017.
Attached is a copy of the Privacy Notice for families that explains in detail what information is held on your child, why we hold it and who we may be required to share it with.
