A very busy first half term.
We had a very busy first half term in P1FC. All the children settled into the new routine and made lots of new friends. We've been working hard at our mark making, drawing lots of pictures, painting fabulous masterpieces, working with pens, markers, pencils, crayons and dough.
We know lots of number rhymes, games and love working on the Interactive whiteboard to learn all about numbers and shapes. We can count, sort and measure and recognise our numbers too.
In literacy we have been learning about books, sounds, syllables. We love our Jolly Phonics activities, songs and actions. We are getting really good at writing the letters and using the sounds to work out words too.
In the coming weeks we'll be learning all about houses and homes and our songs for our Nativity.
We hope you'll enjoy listening to the beautiful singing at home once we start practising.
